A Tale Across Four Centuries
Chapter I
England, 1604
King James gathers artists and scribes to begin translating the Bible. One artist possesses the location of one of the Bible’s most important relics: the rod of Moses. Because the relic would be a powerful weapon in the wrong hands, the King enlists his cousin, Charles Hillcrest, Duke of Norfolk, to retrieve it from the Holy Land.
The widowed Duke reluctantly accepts the mission, still blaming God for the deaths of his wife and daughter.
Chapter II
Jerusalem and the Ancient Mystery
The journey leads to Jerusalem—to stone passages, hidden springs, and a spiritual mystery surrounding the rod of Moses. The Duke soon realizes that far more is at stake than another holy crusade, and that the relic has been hidden for reasons few living men understand.
An ancient object. A hidden history. A calling that crosses centuries.
Chapter III
Modern Texas
Centuries later, Levi Mack—the son of legendary bull rider Chance Mack—has grown up determined to fulfill his late father’s dream and become a world champion professional bull rider. Around him are family, community, and the dusty arenas of the modern rodeo circuit.
A champion in the making, carrying a name and a legacy he does not yet fully understand.
Chapter IV
The Champion’s Road
After an injury threatens his future, Levi makes a bargain with a mysterious shaman—a choice that binds his fate to an ancient conflict. His road leads through the great rodeo arenas, from Houston to Calgary to Cheyenne, toward a reckoning older than the West itself.
The road of a champion is also the road of a calling.
